Meet Dr. Tripodi

Personal
Dr. Tripodi is a proud first-generation Italian American, the third of five children in a family that values hard work and service. Dr. Tripodi’s father is a surgeon, and his mother is a world language teacher. Dr. Tripodi’s mastery of Spanish was nurtured by his mother. His love of surgery came from his father as well as from his seamstress grandmother’s attention to detail in her work. Dr. Tripodi enjoys botany and gardening as well as complex puzzles, archery, and spending time with his silver lab, Gatsby.
Dr. Tripodi fell in love with Savannah while spending summers here with his family when young. As a third-year medical student, Dr. Tripodi worked with Dr. McCullough at Chatham Dermatology, where he first discovered his passion for dermatology. Dr. Tripodi has returned to work with Dr. McCullough – a wonderful full circle.
Dr. Tripodi loves the medical and surgical aspects of dermatology as well as the privilege of caring for entire families. He wants to offer patients thoughtful, personalized care ensuring that all feel heard, informed, and comfortable.
